WVRC Waukesha is seeking a Hospital Services Manager tolead the daily operations of our 24 hour Emergency service. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, developing and supporting team members, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both clients and patients.
This position is ideal for a strong, people-focused leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational oversight in a dynamic, high-acuity environment.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and develop a high-performing emergency team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth
Partner closely with the Medical Director and Hospital Director to align operational and medical priorities
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and real-time resource allocation to ensure optimal patient care and team efficiency
Drive an exceptional client experience from intake through discharge and follow-up
Manage departmental operations, including workflow optimization, safety compliance, and equipment oversight
Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and performance tracking to meet hospital goals
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members
Serve as a coach and mentor, guiding team members in professional development and non-clinical competencies
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (required)
Strong operational and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
Proven ability to lead in high-stress, fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the veterinary field (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation starts at 75K/yr and is based on experience and skill set
