What You'll Do
Your day-to-day will include, but not be limited to:
Welcome and assist clients according to PET ER's standards of care and hospitality
Prepare and review electronic medical records with accuracy and attention to detail
Direct appointments and assist with general scheduling and information
Process payments and assist in financial processes
Answer phones and deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume environment
Fill medications with care and precision
Provide compassionate support and empathy during end-of-life decisions
Because emergency medicine is dynamic, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay composed under pressure are essential.
What You Bring
Previous experience delivering exemplary client service—veterinary reception, medical secretary, or customer service experience preferred
Passion for creating a positive, friendly, and welcoming environment for every client
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Superior interpersonal skills that foster positive working relationships across a multi-doctor, multi-department team
Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and occasional holidays
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required
