Schedule: Full-Time | Sunday–Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Pay Range: $37 – $50/hour (DOE) Sign On Bonus: $9,000

About the Role
Are you a licensed RVT or experienced Senior Veterinary Assistant ready to step into a leadership role? In this role, you’ll blend high level clinical expertise with team mentorship while working alongside board-certified Criticalists and a fast paced emergency team.
As a CCU Clinical Lead, you will be challenged, you will learn, and your compassion, skills, and ambition will be rewarded.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support a team of RVTs and Assistants within the Critical Care Unit
Maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety for critical and hospitalized patients
Provide mentorship, hands on training, and structured development for CCU team members
Assist in advanced case management, including critical patient monitoring, triage, ventilator support, and complex treatment protocols
Partner with doctors and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and alignment with hospital goals
Support emergency flow, client communication, and coordination of critical cases
Qualifications
Required: 5+ years of recent veterinary clinical experience (emergency/critical care experience strongly preferred)
Preferred:
Proven ability to lead by example and foster team development
Confident in anesthesia monitoring, medication calculations, triage, and intensive care protocols
Excellent communication, time management, and problem solving skills
Compensation & Perks
Pay Range: $37 – $50/hour (DOE)
