🐾 Customer Service Representative – Long Island Veterinary Specialists (Plainview, NY)

Schedule:

  • Daytime shifts, with availability on weekdays and weekends.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $20+, will commensurate with knowledge and experience

What you’ll do:

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring they feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. This isn’t just a desk job—it’s an opportunity to build relationships and be part of the journey for pets and the families who love them. Responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting clients with warmth and professionalism
  • Coordinating admissions, discharges, and patient updates
  • Handling medication refill requests and auditing invoices
  • Keeping communication clear and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
Who you are:
  • A natural problem-solver who thrives in a busy, multitasking role
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys working with both animals and people
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus (but we’re happy to train the right person!)
