Client Care Specialist - Veterinary- Per Diem - Roseville

We are currently looking to hire a Per Diem Client Care Specialist.
About the Role:
The Client Care Specialist will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills at all times to represent the organization and perform day-to-day operations of the front desk.
Shift and Schedule Information:
- Per diem - pick up shifts as needed
Responsibilities and duties:
- Welcome our clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
- Prepare and review documents and medical records accurately and completely
- Educate and advise clients regarding hospital services and practices
- Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while ensuring the highest quality of care and satisfaction for our clients at all times.
- Process admissions and discharges accurately; schedule follow up appointments as necessary
- Process invoices and payments accurately
- Update and maintain client/pet records and files in accordance with Veterinary Specialty Hospital legal requirements
- Assist with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing and emailing.
About You:
- Veterinary Clinic experience highly preferred. We will consider candidates with a veterinary medicine background first
- Qualified candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- The right candidate will have a fundamental knowledge of windows based computer programs.
- Proven effective communication and the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to recognize and seek guidance in all client-related cases where protocol does not apply
- Exceptional customer service is expected.

- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required.

- Cultivate a positive atmosphere, demonstrate a friendly and courteous attitude with all co-workers throughout the hospital in order to maintain a cohesive work team
- Maintain excellent communication skills in order to ensure professionalism and effectiveness in all interactions with clients and co-workers throughout the hospital
- Must have the ability to multi task, prioritize, and delegate
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all transactions
- Able work in high stress situations and exercise good judgment as needed
- Present a neat, well-groomed appearance

Our compensation for this role typically falls between $17.64 and $19.60. Compensation is based on experience and skill level.
