Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Spokane, WA is hiring a CredentialedVeterinary Surgery Technician! Veterinary Surgical Specialist is hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with a passion for surgery and anesthesia to join our surgical team, where you will work alongside our board-certified veterinary surgeon.

Compensation: The base hourly range for this position is $25 - $30. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Technical abilities and skills:
Induction, management, and recovery of anesthesia
Knowledge of common medications and filling medications
The ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and commitment to building relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is required
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
The ability to deliver exceptional client service
Proficient with administering subcutaneous fluids and injections, intramuscular and intravenous injections, intravenous catheters, CRIs, and calculations
Surgical prep and assisting
Instrument and equipment sterilization and maintenance
Diagnostic imaging
Knowledge of fluid pumps and fluid setup, including syringe pumps and administration
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Two or more years of experience with veterinary surgeries performing the above duties. (Required)
Able to perform moderately physically demanding work that requires a lot of lifting (up to 50 pounds), cleaning, and constant motion.
