We are currently looking for a full-time Human Resources Manager to join our team on-site at Avets in Monroeville, PA.
The Human Resources Manager will provide direct on-site HR support to an ETHOS field location, Avets in Monroeville PA. The HR Manager will support the Hospital employees and Leadership teams and will provide direct HR support on a variety of topics including HR escalations, HR compliance, employee relations, disciplinary meetings, maintaining local, state, and federal compliance, assisting in compensation and benefit plan review and execution. To be successful in this role, you should have a good knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. The HR Manager will work closely with location employees and management and receive support and partnership from ETHOS People Team and Field Operations Leadership.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop the Site People strategy working with site leadership
Coordinate with ETHOS HRBP on division and organization-wide strategies and objectives
as well as incorporating the Division People strategy
Regular check ins to coach, counsel and collaborate with HD, Medical Leadership and Managers
Collaborate with Hospital Leadership to create positive employee engagement and build hospital culture
Identify department trends and partner with leadership to rollout recommendations for any identified hot spots or development areas
Support staff and managers on day-to-day HR issues including employee relations, investigations, and general inquiries
Conduct investigations as needed, ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
Communicate hospital legal standards, policies and procedures to all employees and ensure hospital standards are met
Partner with local leadership on the performance management process
Lead onboarding procedures in alignment with our company culture
Determine development plans per employee and departments as needed
Develop, shape and lead HR Special projects with guidance and feedback from the Hospital Leadership Teams and ETHOS Field Operations Leadership
Schedule & Compensation
85-95K annually
A typical work week will be daytime hours, Monday through Friday but flexibility in scheduling is necessary to support 24/7 operations as needed
Skills/Requirements
5 years Proven work experience as a Field HR Manager or similar role required
Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
Good knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects at once required
Ability to build strong relationship-building skills, finding ways to go the extra mile with clients and partners
Demonstrated proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Some existing knowledge of animal health/medical field preferred
Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources systems preferred

Able to travel as needed between multiple sites weekly
