Compensation: $16-$18/hour 

Schedule: Flexible hours between 8am - 3pm varied days Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends. Some Holiday hours required.

First Coast Veterinary Specialists and Emergency in Jacksonville Beach, FL is looking for a part-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This individual will mainly be cleaning, organizing, and stocking the hospital. There will be times that patient handling will be necessary.

Day to day duties:

• Laundry
• Cleaning kennels
• assisting in walking patients
• organizing cabinets and drawers
• stocking
• overall maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital

Requirements for the Role:

• Attention to detail, self-motivation, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members, and the ability to multi-task and work well in a high-volume, busy practice.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
