Veterinary Technician, Internal Medicine (LVT/RVT/CVT Required) | $30 - $40/hr + $2 - $4/hr Differentials | Full-Time Benefits | Yonkers, NY

Compensation
  • $30 - $40/hour based on experience, skills assessment, and leveling
  • Weekend Differential (Saturday 12:00am – Sunday 11:59pm):
    • LVTs: Base pay + $4/hour
    • Non-Licensed Team Members: Base pay + $2/hour
  • Holidays = DOUBLE PAY

Responsibilities
  • Assist Internal Medicine specialists with advanced diagnostic and treatment procedures
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient specialty patients
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and laboratory procedures
  • Monitor patients undergoing sedation and anesthesia
  • Obtain and process diagnostic imaging as directed
  • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
  • Educate and support clients throughout the diagnostic and treatment process
  • Collaborate with specialists, technicians, and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care
  • Ensure a high standard of patient comfort, safety, and welfare
Qualifications
  • Must hold an active CVT, LVT, or RVT credential (or be eligible for licensure) in the state of New York
  • Strong experience in patient care, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and radiology preferred
  • Internal Medicine or specialty hospital experience is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Positive attitude and strong critical thinking skills
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
