Join Our Oncology Team as a Veterinary Assistant!

Our Oncology Department is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to support our team of dedicated Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians.

Compensation:
  • Starting at $20 based off radiation Oncology experience
Schedule:
  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • One 12-hour on-call shift in ER per month after cross training
  • This will be a Monday-Friday department eventually.

What You’ll Do:

🔹 Assist with patient care, including obtaining vitals, collecting samples, and monitoring diagnostics
🔹 Support advanced procedures like biopsies, CT scans, and radiation therapy
🔹 Help maintain IV catheters and monitor anesthesia during treatments
🔹 Ensure patients are comfortable, clean, and properly discharged with medications and post-care instructions
🔹 Communicate with clients and team members professionally and empathetically
🔹 Maintain hospital efficiency by stocking supplies and supporting inventory management

What We’re Looking For:

✅ High school diploma or equivalent required
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
✅ Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods
