What You’ll Do:
As a Veterinary Hospital Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital, focusing on the optimal client and employee experience. Your responsibilities will include:


Employee Life-Cycle Management:

  • Mentorship & Development: Act as a mentor and coach, guiding staff through non-clinical matters and fostering professional growth.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and supervise staff across various departments, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated.
  • Performance Management: Set performance standards, monitor progress, and implement promotions, awards, or corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts with compassion and professionalism, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
Operational Effectiveness:
  • Workflow Optimization: Assess and streamline administrative and operational workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage staffing schedules and labor budgets, ensuring departments are well-equipped to meet demands.
  • Financial Oversight: Take charge of the financial performance of your departments, contributing to the hospital’s overall success.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Conduct regular staff meetings to keep everyone informed and engaged.
Client Care Excellence:
  • Client Flow Management: Ensure the smooth and effective flow of clients and pets through the hospital, from arrival to discharge.
  • Crisis Management: Provide reassurance and support to clients during emotional and stressful situations.
  • Business Development: Maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians and follow up on client visits to foster trust and loyalty.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree and/or significant leadership experience. Previous veterinary industry experience is not required, but a comfort level in a clinical setting is essential.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop employees.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive problem solver who can navigate challenges with confidence and poise.
  • Positive Leadership: A leader who can cultivate a positive work environment that enhances the client experience.
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role.
