Registered Veterinary Technician – Emergency
Up to $40.00/hour (DOE) + $5.50/hour Shift Differential (6:00 PM–6:00 AM)
Full-time opportunity in Concord, California
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday | 3:00 PM–1:00 AM | Four 10-hour shifts (Swing Shift)

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will
- Deliver exceptional nursing care for emergency and critically ill patients.
- Serve as the primary nurse for emergency surgical procedures during swing shifts.
- Triage emergency patients and support clients throughout their hospital experience.
- Partner with veterinarians to perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
- Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with advanced diagnostic imaging.
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia and sedation.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
What You Bring
- Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
- Minimum of two years of emergency or clinical veterinary experience.
- Strong technical skills in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, CPR, drug calculations, critical patient care, and patient handling.
- Excellent communication, client service, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
