ER Registered Veterinary Technician

Full-Time opportunity in Concord, California
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday | 3:00 PM–1:00 AM | Four 10-hour shifts (Swing Shift)

In your Day-to-Day You Will
Provide exceptional nursing care for emergency and critically ill patients.
Serve as the primary nurse for Emergency surgeries during swing shifts.
Triage emergency patients and support clients throughout their hospital experience.
Partner with veterinarians to perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, aspirates, and other diagnostic specimens.
Assist with advanced imaging and patient diagnostics.
Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia and sedation.
Monitor hospitalized patients and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
Work closely with emergency doctors, specialists, technicians, and support staff to provide seamless patient care.
Contribute to a collaborative, team-focused hospital culture.
What you Bring
Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
Minimum of 2 years of emergency or clinical veterinary experience.
Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, CPR, drug calculations, critical patient care, and patient handling.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
Ability to remain calm, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Competitive Compensation
$25.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience and skill set
Additional $5.50/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
