Responsibilities
As the Veterinary Technician Coordinator for Surgery & Neurology, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, patient care, and team success across both departments.

As the Veterinary Technician Coordinator for Surgery & Neurology, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, patient care, and team success across both departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all procedures and add-on cases for Surgery and Neurology to support smooth daily workflow
- Oversee treatment queues and monitor task completion throughout the day
- Assign and delegate cases strategically to maximize team efficiency and patient care
- Assist with patient treatments across Surgery and Neurology departments
- Maintain accurate and timely digital treatment documentation
- Proactively identify tasks during downtime to keep workflow productive and organized
- Complete end-of-day responsibilities to ensure smooth service closeout
- Communicate with leadership when additional support or resources are needed
- Help foster a collaborative, efficient, and positive team environment while delivering exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred
- Previous experience in surgery, anesthesia, neurology, or specialty veterinary medicine strongly preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workflow while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
