Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology (AVIM&O) in Annapolis, MD is hiring a full- time Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding Internal Medicine team!

If you are familiar with pet behavior, outgoing, enthusiastic, compassionate, understand the value to superb customer service, not afraid to get dirty, and ready to learn new skills, then you are the candidate we are looking for! You will use your communication skills and problem solving skills to be a passionate patient advocate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer support as well as compassionate client and patient care.
- Provide excellent communication and thorough education to clients.
- Safe, low stress patient restraint.
- Maintain hospital cleanliness.
- Run in- house lab work.
- Assisting Doctor's and Technicians with appointments.
- Positive, professional attitude. Punctual, team player, has a strong sense of attention to detail.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8 or 10 hour shifts available

- 1 year experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- High School or Equivalent
- Veterinary Assistant Certificate - preferred but not required
