Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 5–8 hour shifts

Compensation: $18–$27/hr, depending on experience

Nashville Veterinary Specialists & Animal Emergency (NVS) is looking for a Client Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a strong communicator who enjoys helping clients, supporting veterinary teams, and working in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital environment.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday

  • 5–8 hour shifts

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client communication, including scheduling appointments, work-ins, and follow-up calls.

  • Greet clients and help create a welcoming, organized experience from check-in through discharge.

  • Respond to client phone calls, messages, and questions in a timely and professional manner.

  • Coordinate prescription refill requests with veterinary teams and communicate with pharmacies as needed.

  • Provide clients with daily updates regarding hospitalized patients and facilitate communication with the medical team.

  • Assist with client visits and provide support throughout the patient’s stay.

  • Conduct post-discharge follow-up calls to check on patient progress and client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with Client Service Representatives, Client Care Coordinators, doctors, and veterinary teams to support an efficient client experience and appropriately direct medical questions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service setting preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and compassionate approach.

  • Ability to remain organized, calm, and attentive to client needs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively with clients, doctors, veterinary technicians, and other hospital team members.

  • Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and ezyVet or similar veterinary practice management software is a plus.

  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
