The Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI is hiring a full- time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology team!
Shift Details = 4/ 10 hour shifts each week, no weekends!

- CVT required
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
- Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed. A highly qualified applicant will have experience in anesthesia monitoring and recovery including EKG, SP02, and Doppler equipment, performing sterile scrub, and assisting doctors throughout a variety of surgical procedures.
- Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills - Handle many aspects of client communication with regard to informational calls, client follow-up, and general questions about their in-hospital or at-home pet’s status. Neurological disease can be difficult for clients to understand. Compassion, patience, professionalism, and kindness to all clients whether in person or on the phone, is a must.
