Schedule:
- Four 9-hour shifts: 9am-6pm, including one weekend shift.
- $20 - $25/hour based on knowledge and experience
- Shift Differential where applicable

- License application and renewal reimbursement for CVTs
- Responsible for processing all in-house and send-out laboratory tests including:
- Process all IDEXX reference laboratory requests
- Accurately process all in-house lab tests:
- CBC/Chemistry
- PCV/TS
- SNAP Test
- Urinalysis
- Leptospirosis test
- I-Stat
- Blood Typing
- Crossmatch
- Manual Differential
- Cytology (ear)
- Etc.
- Accurately process all ancillary lab tests to outside labs:
- Michigan State University
- Colorado State University
- Etc.
- Ensure all sample submittal paperwork is completed accurately
- Ensure all samples are packaged appropriately
- Ensure proper samples (serum, plasma, etc.) are included for each requisition
- Ensure all charges are invoiced appropriately and under the correct provider
- Maintain lab supplies, ordering supplies as needed through IDEXX (tubes, culturettes, etc)
- Process quality control
- Previous veterinary lab experience required
- CVT certification (or eligibility) preferred, but not required
- Fluent English (written and spoken) required
- Rabies vaccination preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to the profession (e.g., continuing education, conference attendance, professional memberships)
- Ability to attend mandatory monthly staff meetings
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, reach, grasp, hear, and see throughout your shift
- You are a confident, skilled Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
