Veterinary Client Service Representative
Animal Urgent Care (AUC) North East is a brand new 9,000 square foot 24/7 ER facility with surgical capabilities, ultrasound, X-rays, and hospitalization. We ensure the communities we serve have access to excellent, affordable emergency veterinary services. We are proudly certified by the American Animal Hospital Association.About the Role:
In this role you will be the face of AUC NE for clients as they are checking in for appointments, waiting in the lobby and discharging, and a crucial member of our hospital team.
Compensation:
- $20 - $21/hr depending on experience
- Full Time
- Shifts/Hours: TBD
- Provide high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients
- Facilitate admission of patients
- Support the doctors and support staff as needed
- Assist with euthanasia paperwork and provide compassionate service to owners suffering from loss and grief
- Collect deposits for appointments and procedures
- Communicate patient progress/owner updates to clients in the lobby
- Answer questions clients may have while in the lobby
- Schedule future appointments/follow up as needed
- Sign in visitors and vendors
- Look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion
- Daily cleaning of front desk/lobby area – wipe down surfaces, sweep lobby, etc.

- At least 2 year of customer service experience in the veterinary field.
- Familiarity with payment collection processes.
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems.
- Proven ability to maintain high accuracy in data entry.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
