Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital, dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians with the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care. 

We are offering a $1000 hiring bonus to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our Cardiology team!

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license, or scheduled VTNE test day, required
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
  • Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is required.  A highly qualified applicant will have experience in anesthesia monitoring and recovery including EKG, SP02, and doppler equipment.
  • Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills - Handle many aspects of client communication with regard to informational calls, client follow-up, and general questions about their in-hospital or at-home pet’s status.
