Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital, dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians with the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care.
We are offering a $1000 hiring bonus to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our Cardiology team!
WVRC offers a warm, friendly atmosphere where our main goal is to provide compassionate care to our patients and clients as well as offering outstanding customer service! The successful candidate will work closely with our board-certified Cardiologists to provide high-quality care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license, or scheduled VTNE test day, required
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
- Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is required. A highly qualified applicant will have experience in anesthesia monitoring and recovery including EKG, SP02, and doppler equipment.
- Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills - Handle many aspects of client communication with regard to informational calls, client follow-up, and general questions about their in-hospital or at-home pet’s status.
