About the role:
The Client Patient Liaison is a key member of the veterinary team, responsible for coordinating client communications and ensuring smooth scheduling and billing processes within the department. This role is vital to providing a seamless experience for clients, from initial consultations through to follow-ups, by managing appointment scheduling, handling department inquiries, and assisting with billing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling: Coordinate and manage scheduling for new consultations, ensuring clients receive timely and convenient appointment options. Work closely with medical staff to maintain an efficient, patient-centered schedule.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for client communications within the department. Filter and respond to messages, answering inquiries related to appointments, follow-up care, and general information.
  • Billing Support: Assist with billing inquiries, providing clear and accurate information to clients about charges, payment options, and insurance claims if applicable. Work with the billing department to resolve any client concerns or issues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, appointments, and billing. Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Coordination with Clinical Staff: Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and other support staff to ensure the department runs smoothly and clients feel supported throughout their visit.
  • Customer Service: Provide compassionate and professional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding to clients and their pets. Address any concerns or escalations promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
Compensation range for this role is between $21 - $25 hourly.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a veterinary, healthcare, or customer service role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Compassionate and service-oriented mindset, with a commitment to providing a positive experience for clients and their pets.
Working Conditions:
  • Office setting within a hospital environment.
  • May require occasional weekend or evening hours, depending on client needs and department operations.
