Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time
- 3 twelve or 4 ten hour shifts per week
- Dependent on experience, will be discussed during interview process
- Shift differentials available!
- $2/hr after 6pm on weekdays and weekend day shift
- $3.50/hr after 6pm on Friday and Saturday

Qualifications:
- Veterinary Technician License (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred, but not required
- Foundational veterinary knowledge, including patient restraint, triage, imaging, laboratory skills, and venipuncture.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a manner that supports Avets' mission to provide state of the art medicine and compassionate care for pets and the people who love them.
- Work with fellow team members to maintain a productive, positive and respectful environment. All technical staff, regardless of the level of experience, must be able to stand, bend, lift, and/or kneel for the duration of a shift (12 hours), and lift a minimum of twenty five pounds.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
Prior emergency experience preferred, but not required. Certified Veterinary Technicians or license eligible candidates will be given the highest consideration.
