We're looking for a Veterinary Technician who enjoys challenging cases, advanced nursing, and being part of the team patients depend on when they need care most.

You'll work alongside emergency veterinarians, specialists, and an experienced veterinary nursing team caring for critically ill and hospitalized patients. Whether you already have Critical Care experience or you're an experienced RVT ready to grow into more advanced ECC nursing, we want to hear from you.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

  • Provide hands-on nursing care and monitoring for critically ill and hospitalized patients.
  • Assess patients and quickly communicate important changes in condition.
  • Assist with emergency stabilization, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and continuous rate infusions (CRIs).
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing.
  • Support sedation and anesthesia, including patient monitoring and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate treatment sheets, electronic medical records, and patient documentation.
  • Participate in patient rounds and communicate important information between shifts.
Requirements
  • Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license preferred. Experienced unlicensed professionals will be considered.
  • Strong foundational technical and patient-care skills.
  • Experience in Emergency, Critical Care, ICU, Specialty, or a fast-paced veterinary environment preferred.
  • Experience with skills such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication calculations, anesthesia monitoring, and patient assessment.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient condition.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork.
  • A desire to continue learning and advancing your clinical skills.
