Compensation:
  • $15 - $18 depending on experience
  • $$+ Night/Weekend differentials to be discussed at time of interview
Schedule:
  • Full Time (2 positions available)
    • 3x12 hour shifts
      • 2pm-2:30am
      • Alternating Weekends/ holidays
Key Responsibilities:
As an ER Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing life-saving care to pets. Your duties include:
  • Offering proficient technical nursing to all hospitalized patients and calculating fluid rates
  • Administering medications and treatments under the direction of experienced veterinarians/technicians.
  • Providing compassionate support to anxious and concerned pet owners while keeping them informed about their pets' condition.
  • Ensuring accurate and detailed medical record-keeping.
  • Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Experienced Veterinary Assistants with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations.
  • A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being.
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
