IM Licensed Veterinary Technician, PET ER
We are seeking an Internal Medicine Specialty Veterinary Technician to join our team in practicing the highest quality medicine that Alaska provides!
This individual will work closely with our Internal Medicine Specialist to provide care to animals suffering from a wide range of illnesses, including those related to the:
Cardiovascular system
Respiratory system
Digestive system
Responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostic tests
Administering medications
Monitoring the progress of treatment
Helping plan effective treatment strategies
Providing ongoing patient care
Educating pet owners about their animals’ health, including disease risks and preventative care
Ideal candidate qualifications:
Deep understanding of animal anatomy and physiology
Knowledge of current medical treatments and techniques
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
You will play an essential role in the care and treatment of animals and are vital to our success!
LVT credentialing is preferred, but we will also consider job-trained candidates with strong experience.

- Overtime occasionally necessary

- Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
