Pacific Northwest Pet ER & Specialty Center is seeking a Specialty Supervisor (LVT) to provide floor leadership, support team development, and help ensure exceptional patient care in our specialty hospital.

You'll work alongside advanced veterinary technology, including MRI, CT, and more, in a modern space complete with an employee garden, while serving as a key resource for technicians, assistants, and support staff throughout each shift. VTS mentorship opportunities are available, and the hospital is focused on building a supportive environment centered on wellness and mental health.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Provide leadership and support to clinical team members during assigned shifts
- Coordinate workflow to promote efficient patient care and hospital operations
- Monitor staffing needs and assist with daily resource allocation
- Mentor, coach, and support Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff
- Participate in performance management, training, and professional development initiatives
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members, and support implementation of hospital policies and patient care standards
- Maintain a strong clinical presence and assist with patient care as needed
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
What You Bring
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing or ability to obtain Washington licensure
- Previous specialty or advanced clinical veterinary experience preferred
- Prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced environments; fluent English speaking and reading skills required
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care and team development
