Veterinary Technician Clinical Supervisor, Urgent Care | $28–$36/hr + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Full-Time Benefits | Williston, VT

Join PEAK Veterinary Referral Center as a Veterinary Technician Clinical Supervisor in our Urgent Care department. This leadership-focused Veterinary Technician role combines hands-on patient care with team development, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Technician, CVT, RVT, or LVT looking to grow into a leadership position while continuing to utilize advanced technical skills.

Compensation

  • $28–$36/hour, based on experience
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
    • $2,500 paid on the first or second paycheck following your start date
    • $2,500 paid after successful completion of six months of employment

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and daily support to clinical and client service teams
  • Oversee staffing needs, scheduling, and payroll approval to ensure appropriate department coverage
  • Conduct team check-ins, assist with hiring efforts, performance reviews, and employee development
  • Partner with training teams to support onboarding and ongoing education
  • Foster a hospitality-focused culture that prioritizes exceptional client service and patient care
  • Address client concerns and support positive client experiences
  • Perform Veterinary Technician duties including patient triage, diagnostics, treatments, nursing care, monitoring, and client communication
  • Coordinate department operations, equipment concerns, and communication between teams
  • Serve as a resource for staff while promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
  • Balance approximately 75% hands-on technical work with 25% administrative leadership responsibilities
Qualifications
  • Veterinary Technician experience required
  • CVT, RVT, or LVT credentials preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred, or a strong desire to grow into a supervisory role
  • Strong technical veterinary nursing skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members
  • Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible candidates will receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $2,500 will be paid on the first or second paycheck following the start date, and the remaining $2,500 will be paid after successful completion of six months of employment.
