The Role and Ideal Candidate:
As a Veterinary Client Service Coordinator, you are the first friendly face our patients and clients see upon arrival.
- Remain calm in stressful and emotional situations while confidently interacting with clients in person and on the phone.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks such as:
- Greeting clients and patients
- Data entry
- Requesting and sending medical records
- Managing a multi-line phone system
- Processing payments
- Accurately scheduling appointments
- Performing other administrative duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients and medical staff, which is essential in this role.
- Possess a genuine love for animals and a welcoming demeanor.
- Show empathy, compassion, and provide reassurance to worried pet owners, which is crucial in this role.
The compensation range for this position is $22-26 an hour.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 Schedule Available
- Weekend and some holiday availability needed
Basic required qualifications:
- High school diploma and a minimum of one year of customer service related work experience
- One year veterinary reception experience is preferred, however not required!
- Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records; effective working knowledge of MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculator
