As our Assistant Hospital Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and develop people by coaching, mentoring emerging leaders, and helping build high-performing teams.
- Make a meaningful operational impact by improving workflows, patient flow, staffing, communication, and hospital efficiency.
- Partner with veterinary leadership to support the delivery of exceptional emergency care.
- Develop business and financial leadership skills through exposure to budgeting, labor management, operational metrics, and hospital performance.

- Grow your leadership career with increasing responsibility and ownership of hospital operations.
In this role, you will help oversee the daily operations of our 24/7 emergency hospital, ensuring that our teams have the resources, support, and leadership they need to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting daily hospital operations and ensuring efficient patient and client flow.
- Partnering with department supervisors to manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and operational needs.
- Coaching and developing supervisors, team members, and emerging leaders.
- Participating in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Championing an exceptional client experience and assisting with service recovery when needed.

- CVT/LVT/RVT certification or equivalent clinical experience is a plus.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, operational analytics, compliance, or quality improvement is a plus.
A Leadership Role Designed for Growth
As you demonstrate success, you will progressively assume greater responsibility for hospital operations, facility oversight, financial management, strategic planning, team development, and organizational leadership. The long-term goal is to develop you into a leader capable of acting on behalf of the Hospital Manager in their absence.
This is an opportunity to build something bigger than your own career—to help shape the future of the hospital, develop the next generation of veterinary leaders, and create an environment where veterinary professionals can thrive.
If you're ready to take the next step from managing teams to leading a hospital, we'd love to hear from you.
