  • State RVT license preferred, but not required
  • Previous Specialty experience preferred

About the role:
  • Day shift, Tuesday-Friday
  • The role involves a variety of responsibilities including radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, laboratory work, pharmacy duties, patient recovery, and providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
 
  • Compensation Range: RVT: $25.00 - $40.00 hour SVA: $25.00 - $36.00
  • $8,000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $6,000 Hiring Bonus for Veterinary Assistants (for full-time, new to SAGE hires) for overnight roles.
  • $7000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $5000 Hiring bonus for veterinary assistants for swing shift roles.
  • $6000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $4000 Hiring bonus for day shift roles.
  • Shift differentials available! $3/hour swing shift, $5 overnight shift

Basic Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
  • Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations 
  • Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit
