Virginia Veterinary Centers is seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Radiation Oncology team and play a key role in advanced medical, diagnostic, and radiation therapy procedures.
Compensation:
- Starting at $27/hr (& up!) - is based on experience, skill set, & certification
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- 3/12- hour shifts per week (7am - 7pm)

Your Role:
- Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures, including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring
- Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions
- Maintain and place IV catheters, ensuring proper patient care
- Accurately administer and document controlled substances & chemotherapy medications
- Provide compassionate client communication, from triage to discharge
- Ensure proper medical record documentation and OSHA compliance

- Strong venipuncture & IV catheter placement skills
- Passion for patient care and client communication
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-tech, fast-paced environment
- A team player with a commitment to excellence
- Veterinary Technician License (required)
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Proven ability to multi- task in a fast pace setting
- Strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and clients
- Strong anesthesia skills
