​​Veterinary Referral Center (VRC) is a comprehensive, referral specialty & emergency critical care veterinary hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for appointments, advanced imaging, surgery and emergency/critical care services. At our hospital, you'll be working alongside a large team of experienced & board-certified veterinarians with advanced specialized training who utilize the latest innovations in medicine and technology to treat companion animals. Our veterinary services include trauma treatment and critical care, medical oncology, radiation therapy oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, dentistry/oral surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, MRI and CT, endoscopy, rehabilitation, and emergency services.

We are looking to add a Housekeeping Attendant and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance in our hospital!  By joining VRC you will be supported by a team of excellent nurses and assistants along with experienced, board-certified veterinarians. Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floor surfaces
  • Clean all glass surfaces inside and outside of the building
  • Dust, clean and disinfect surfaces as needed
  • Clean and stock all kitchen areas, clean appliances
  • Clean and stock restrooms
  • Organize, store and eliminate items to maintain a clutter-free facility
  • Collect and dispose of trash as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral in English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate reliability and follow-through with all work-related tasks/projects
  • Prior cleaning experience strongly preferred
Schedule:
  • Full-Time and schedule to be determined
Compensation:
  • Hourly range $18-$22/hour
Preferred skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
