The successful candidate will work closely with our board-certified Internists to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions.

As a CVT in the Internal Medicine department, you be responsible for the following duties:

  • Providing compassionate care and monitoring for animals admitted to the Internal Medicine department.
  • Assist with a variety of diagnostic procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering guidance on their animal's condition and treatment options.
  • Monitoring anesthetic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
  • Assist veterinarians during procedures such as biopsies, aspiration cytology, endoscopies and more.
  • Collaborate closely with other veterinary professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Advocate for the well-being of patients, ensuring they receive appropriate care and treatment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician in an animal hospital setting required.
  • CVT or VTS preferred but not required.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • 4/10 hour weekday shifts
  • Must be able to work some holidays
  • Hourly pay starts at $21/hr and may be higher depending on experience and qualifications.
