Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital of West Toronto is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team!
Schedule:
- M-TH 8a - 6p
- NO WEEKENDS!
- NO ON CALL!

- Provide compassionate care to patients and clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform radiographs and bandage changes.
- Calculate drug dosages, create anesthetic protocols, and administer CRIs.
- Place catheters (peripheral and urinary) and perform blood draws.
- Utilize your anesthesia expertise and be open to learning new techniques.
- Manage multi-modal pain relief methods (e.g., epidurals, nerve blocks).
- Communicate effectively within a team and work independently when needed.
- Take initiative and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a sense of humor and positive attitude.

Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing with OAVT.
- Strong skills in anesthesia and willingness to learn advanced techniques.
- Experience in multi-modal pain management.
- Proficient in radiography and bandage changes.
- Comfortable with drug dosage calculations and creating anesthetic protocols.
- Skilled in catheter placement and blood draws.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide top-notch patient care.
