AECFV is a leading AAHA accredited veterinary facility. Our 8,000 sqft hospital is equipped with many state-of-the-art tools that enable us to provide comprehensive emergency care. We have one of the largest blood banks in Canada and are one of the largest and busiest standalone emergency hospitals in Western Canada. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by a team of over 100 incredible individuals, each committed to practicing the highest standard of emergency and critical care medicine.

• Possess prior experience in customer service or a veterinary setting, though it’s not required.
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can articulate information clearly to clients and team members.
• Thrive in a fast-paced and stressful environment, demonstrating the ability to stay calm and focused.
• Pay close attention to detail, effectively managing and prioritizing tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Show a compassionate and caring attitude towards pets and their owners, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

• A full-time role is a minimum of 64 hours per pay period with rotations built to increase work-life balance. 
• A full-time role requires that you will work one Saturday or Sunday shift per week, as well as a variety of shift times, including some statutory holidays. Part-time positions are considered based on our staffing needs, usually weekends, evenings, and overnights.

• Competitive wage rate between $19.50-23/hr based on experience.
