Pay range: RVT $30–$40/hr | VA $26–$34/hr
Up to $2,500 Sign-On Bonus available for qualified applicants! Relocation assistance also available for qualified candidates.

Schedule: 4/10 schedule, Wednesday–Saturday day shift, or 3/12 schedule, Thursday–Saturday swing shift

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Technician to join our team on either the Wednesday–Saturday day shift (4/10) or the Thursday–Saturday swing shift (3/12).

You will be the "right hand" to our veterinarians on staff, helping maintain the highest level of care and comfort for our clients' beloved pets. In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Perform nursing care for critical cases, consistently evaluating the patient
  • Calculate CRIs and provide advanced hospitalization care
  • Perform in-house laboratories
  • Place IV catheters proficiently
  • Give accurate and detailed patient rounds
  • Perform safe restraint for fractious and frightened patients
  • Obtain TPRs, keep medical records, and understand when to alert the DVM
  • Advocate for the patient and client
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture

What You Bring

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
  • An active CA state RVT license is preferred but not required
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
