In Your Day-To-Day, you will:
  • Partner closely with board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians to provide exceptional care for a diverse caseload of complex internal medicine patients.
  • Assist with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, ultrasound-guided aspirates and biopsies, CT imaging, and contrast studies.
  • Perform specialized nursing skills such as ECGs, arterial blood draws, joint taps, bone marrow aspirates, CSF taps, BAL/TTW procedures, and chemotherapy administration.
  • Monitor and support patients through advanced diagnostics and treatments, including ACTH stimulation testing, glucose curves, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, and other specialized procedures.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring accurate documentation, treatment preparation, and client support throughout the patient's visit.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced specialty environment dedicated to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
What You Bring; 
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or an experienced veterinary nurse with at least 3 years of emergency or specialty experience, including advanced anesthesia monitoring for ASA 3–5 patients. (New graduates and current CVT students are also encouraged to apply.)
  • Strong technical skills, including animal restraint, venipuncture, peripheral IV catheter placement, medication and fluid calculations, aseptic surgical preparation, and patient monitoring.
  • Experience performing in-house laboratory testing (CBC/Chemistry, electrolytes, i-STAT, urinalysis) and maintaining accurate, thorough medical records.
  • Working knowledge of multiple medication administration routes and the ability to confidently deliver exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced specialty environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a compassionate, client-focused approach to patient care.
  • The ability to lift up to 35 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout your shift.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
