Our veterinary receptionists provide the client with their first impression of our practice, where their family and their pets will be assisted by a friendly, smiling, compassionate staff member. We realize the importance of this first impression and are looking for someone who can show our clients compassion, attention, and the highest level of client service.
Schedule and Compensation:
- $16/hr depending on experience
- Flexible schedule, 4/10's
Job Requirements:
The Client Service Representative provides the first impression of the hospital to clients and patients. The Client Service Representative must be friendly, professional, courteous, and capable of handling many tasks at once with frequent interruptions. Client service representatives handle all incoming phone calls, complete the check-in and discharge process, and play a large role in communicating with the medical team and client throughout the visit. Previous work in the veterinary field is preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Prior experience in working with the public, computer, data entry and multi-line phone skills are required.
- The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer care and a love for animals.
- Continually provide high levels of customer service to our clients and referring veterinarians.
- Communicate well; including ensuring the client is greeted warmly.
- Recognize the importance of appearance in both professional dress and the hospital’s cleanliness.
