Certified Veterinary Technician | Emergency | $25/hr and up | 1st shift | 4 Nine Hour Shifts Per Week | Full-Time, Benefits | Waukesha, WI

WVRC is a leading 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital in Waukesha, WI is qualified as a VECCS Certified Level 1 Trauma Center. We have three hospital locations in Waukesha, Racine and Grafton - all dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care.  

WVRC Waukesha is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our high performing Emergency team on day shift. This role is ideal for technicians who want to advance their emergency skills, work at the top of their license, and be part of a highly collaborative, well-supported team. 

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time: 36–40 hours/week (four 9-hour shifts) 

• 1st shift with every other weekend 

• Some holidays; no on-call requirement 

• $25/hr+, may be higher depending on experience

Qualifications:

• CVT licensure is required OR eligible to obtain license within 9 months 

• At least 1 year of technician experience (ER experience a plus, not required) 

• Comfortable with restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing care 

• Motivated, collaborative, and committed to exceptional patient care
