Compensation
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT): Starting at $30+/hour, with compensation based on experience
  • License-Eligible Veterinary Technician: Starting at $25/hour
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Overnight Shift Differential: Additional $4/hour for hours worked between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule
  • Full-time, 36–40 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance
  • Mixture of day, swing, and overnight shifts available

Responsibilities
  • Triage and assess emergency patients
  • Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Monitor hospitalized and critical care patients
  • Perform laboratory sample collection and testing
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Support anesthesia, sedation, and patient monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the veterinary team
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative hospital culture
  • Provide exceptional patient and client care in a fast-paced emergency setting
Qualifications
  • Active CVT, LVT, or RVT credential (or license-eligible) in New York State
  • Emergency, specialty, or critical care experience preferred
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach
  • Desire to continue learning and advancing veterinary nursing skills
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
