Animal Urgent Care (AUC Northeast) is a 9,000 square foot emergency hospital featuring surgical capabilities, ultrasound, radiology (X-ray), and inpatient hospitalization. Job Description In this role you will be the face of AUC Northeast for clients as they are checking in for appointments, waiting in the lobby and discharging, and a crucial member of our hospital team.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients
Facilitate admission of patients
Support the doctors and support staff as needed
Assist with euthanasia paperwork and provide compassionate service to owners suffering from loss and grief
Collect deposits for appointments and procedures
Communicate patient progress/owner updates to clients in the lobby
Answer questions clients may have while in the lobby
Schedule future appointments/follow up as needed
Sign in visitors and vendors
Look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion
Daily cleaning of front desk/lobby area – wipe down surfaces, sweep lobby, etc.

Qualifications
At least 2 year of customer service experience in the veterinary field.
Familiarity with payment collection processes.
Experience managing multi-line phone systems.
Proven ability to maintain high accuracy in data entry.
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
