We are looking for a new Client Service Coordinator at our San Franciscohospital!
About the job: As a veterinary Client Service Coordinator, some of the duties you will be responsible for include:
Client Interaction: Welcome and assist clients and their pets, providing a positive and helpful experience.
Appointment Management: Schedule appointments, coordinate procedures, and manage the clinic's calendar.
Communication: Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide information about services.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
Check-In/Out: Process client paperwork, verify information, and handle payments during visits.
Billing: Calculate fees, process payments, and assist with invoicing as needed.
Client Education: Offer pet care information and answer general questions.
Facility Maintenance: Keep reception area organized and comfortable for clients and pets.
Team Collaboration: Communicate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations.
Problem Solving: Address client concerns and conflicts, escalating when necessary.
The compensation for this role falls between $22 - $26 hourly.
Basic required qualifications:
High school diploma
1+ years of customer service experience - veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred
1+ years of hospitality experience (e.g., creating a friendly and receptive environment for clients)
Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records
Effective working knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculator
