VERC is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care team in Honolulu.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a Vet Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build advanced skills in Emergency Veterinary Medicine, ER/ECC, ICU, triage, stabilization, and hospitalized patient care.
You'll work alongside Emergency Veterinarians, RVTs, Veterinary Technicians, and Specialty teams caring for patients ranging from urgent walk-in cases to critically ill hospitalized pets.
What You Bring
Veterinary Technician or RVT credentialing is welcome but not required for this Veterinary Assistant position.

No two shifts in Emergency Medicine are the same. You'll gain exposure to urgent and critical cases while developing skills in triage, stabilization, Emergency procedures, diagnostic imaging, ICU nursing, and advanced patient monitoring.
