Internal Medicine Registered Veterinary Technician
Internal Medicine - Fort Wayne, IN - Full Time
We are looking to hire a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team and support our Internal Medicine Department! We are offering up to $1000 hiring bonus for this position!
Anticipated Schedule:
Full or Part-time position available.
Monday – Friday, no weekends!
Compensation:
$21.50-$23.00 dependent on experience
Up to a $1000 hiring bonus!
Ideal candidates are friendly, detail oriented, and have strong multi-tasking skills. All candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations with sensitivity and tact. We have an extensive training period. Internal Medicine RVT duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the internist
- Animal restraint
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Blood draws
- Administering medications
- Radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, and chemotherapy.
- Client communication/patient discharge.
- Must be interested in caring for patients with complex medical needs.
RVT - High School Diploma or GED, VTNE and veterinary technician state license required.
