We are a 5 DVM, AAHA accredited hospital focusing on ER and Critical Care. We are community-based and have a diverse group of staff that are fun loving, energetic, as well as employee driven hospital culture.
We function as a teaching hospital, our diverse staff has ranges of levels of knowledge, age, and experience. We currently have 2 credentialed technicians furthering their career to become VTS in ECC and encourage career growth for our technical staff.
We host DVM students from all over the country and are happy to support our first ER Intern Class in 2024! We are looking for those technicians ready to learn and grow the field of veterinary medicine with this incredible new DVM team.
Our patients are as diverse as our staff, we treat everything but hoof stock and wildlife.
About You:
· Ability to perform tasks associated with Technician responsibilities (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)
· You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.
· You are committed to outstanding client service, exceptional patient care and really want to make a difference!
· We place a high value on continuing education and on-going training. Be ready for opportunities to learn & grow! Including advanced skills like central lines, IO catheters and more!
Anticipated Schedule:
· Three 12-hour shifts
· Daytime, swing & overnight shifts available
Compensation:
· $18-23 per hour DOE
