SAGE Veterinary Centers is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Learning & Development Specialist (TLDS) to plan, organize, and direct the clinical training and professional development of our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

The TLDS continues to work as a Veterinary Technician while assessing clinical skills, training new team members, supporting onboarding, and overseeing technician continuing education for the hospital team. The division of time between the floor and training may vary based on the number of new hires, training needs, and other factors, and the specific area of focus is set by hospital leadership and may shift as hospital needs change.

Why Join SAGE Dublin

Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, collaborative, and advanced veterinary care while utilizing state-of-the-art technology and innovative treatment options. Services include emergency and critical care, urgent care, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, and surgery, and we are equally committed to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture focused on teamwork, learning, and professional development.

  • Track training modules for all technician levels, including clinical competencies and non-clinical compliance training such as Code of Conduct, Handbook sign-offs, and other acknowledgements.
  • Provide input into the development, standardization, and sign-off process for technician protocol practicals.
