Ophthalmology - Little Falls, NJ - Full Time

Animal Eye Center of NJ is hiring a Full- Time Veterinary Assistant to join our Ophthalmology team!
A skilled Veterinary Ophthalmic Assistant provides key support to the technician and veterinarian staff.  Must be friendly, professional and courteous, and capable of handling several tasks at once with frequent interruptions.  Must be able to take direction from multiple staff members while adhering to training standards.

Shift Details = Monday – Friday, NO weekends or overnights.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Restraining of patients
  • Cleaning Kennels, Floors, etc.
  • Stocking the treatment areas
  • Laundry
  • Taking patients outside
  • Feeding patients

  • Able to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community

  • Positive outlook, a passion for providing the highest quality in patient care and the ability to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
  • Must have worked or volunteered working with dogs and cats at a clinic, Humane Society, Kennel, or similar
