Custodian - Veterinary Hospital

**This position is expected to work Thursday-Sunday 3pm-1am. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the Hospital and Department. Training days/hours TBD.**

*This position will pay $18-$20 hourly DOE*

Duties and Responsibilities Include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Completes daily scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, and film from equipment, floors, and counter top surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfectant solutions.
• Cleans all public restrooms, stalls, and sinks.
• Sweeps, mops, and scrubs the floors in all departments where carpet is not present.
• Reports all equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to supervisor as soon as possible.
• Follows established fire and safety policies and procedures.
• Follows established hand washing procedures.
• Assists others in lifting heavy equipment and supplies as directed or requested.

Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required.
