As a Scrub Nurse at PEAK Veterinary Referral Center located in Williston, VT, you'll work alongside two board-certified surgeons and a skilled team of technicians dedicated to providing top-tier care to our patients and their families.

Compensation:
  • $21 - $34 based on experience & skill set
About the Role:
Join our dedicated and thriving Surgery department, where you'll collaborate with a team of two board-certified surgeons and seven skilled veterinary technicians. Together, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and service to our patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Administer local nerve blocks.
  • Perform basic animal restraint and phlebotomy with care and precision.
  • Capture high-quality imaging (radiographs, fluoroscopy, and CT).
  • Scrub into sterile procedures and assist surgeons during surgeries and appointments.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about advancing their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment while contributing to the highest standard of veterinary care.

About You:
  • You are a confident, skilled, Veterinary Technician - Bonus points if you are a CVT, LVT, or VTS!
  • You possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills aimed at establishing long lasting, positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
  • You are able to work well independently and in a team environment, leading by example and holding oneself accountable for quality medicine and customer service.
  • You exhibit flexibility, dependability, responsibility, and possesses excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Our 14,000 sq. ft. hospital provides state-of-the-art diagnostics, treatments, and 24-hour care for hospitalized patients seven days a week.
