Client Services Representative, FCVS

First Coast Veterinary Specialists & Emergency located in Jacksonville Beach, FL is searching for a Client Services Representative to join our team!

Compensation: $18 - $20/hr, based on experience. Additional shift differentials offered. 

Schedule: Full-time, 10-hour or 12-hour shifts 

Day, Evening, and Overnight Shifts available. Some Holidays and rotating weekends required.

About You: You are an experienced Client Services Representative dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent care. You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value. You can adapt to the individual needs of each client and their patient, are eager to continue enhancing your skill set, and truly want to make a difference.

Client Services Representative duties include, but are not limited to:

• Admitting clients, entering information on new patients, paging overhead to notify appropriate departments of patient arrivals.
• Processing medical records, faxes, and emails, and answering our multi-line phone system and directing calls accordingly. 
• Ensuring the lobby and reception areas are organized and neat, including stocking and cleaning. 
• Checking out clients, obtaining deposits, and processing payments. 
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Role:

• High School diploma or equivalent.  
• Basic knowledge of veterinary environment, terminology, and protocols. Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, zoonotic diseases, and unpleasant odors. Experience with multi-line telephone systems, and proficient computer skills. 
• Attention to detail alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills with both clients and team members.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
